Why don’t you give it a Shot-Ski.

Gotta love a clever name

Gotta love a clever name

I must confess – this is not my thing.  I don’t drink shots.  In fact, once when a Russian ballet choreographer was buying a friend and I shots I had the bartender substitute water for vodka in mine.  Needless to say, I drove home that night.  HOWEVER, the Shot-Ski is all the rage right now.  As if that wasn’t enough they also have a Brew-Ski too.  Both are fully custom and not something that will be easily forgotten.

Want to put your logo on a Shot-ski or a Brew-ski contact us at Fixed Impressions.

Frequency of THREE to Change The World

I am NOT  a broken record it’s just that I learned from my years in RADIO that you need at least a frequency of 3 for your message to sink in.  A little known, less believed fact is that I really do follow the rules and in this case – I am committed.  Most people look for their purpose in life and unfortunately don’t find it – I have.  As luck would have it – I need help to make it happen.  This is where you come in!

I need your help.  Technically all I need you to do is buy a t-shirt or hoody.  I will totally tell you why but if you don’t want the explanation just go to the Library in Wootees and look through the designs by school year and just buy a shirt!  The site loads slowly so give it a minute!!

For those who don’t know the story….

For the last three years I have volunteered to teach a class at a local public High School once a week (on Tuesdays to be exact). I am trying so very hard to teach these students, some of which are at a financial disadvantage and who will more than likely not have the opportunity to go to college that they can still do productive things with their lives. Week after week (and year after year for that matter) I show up and try and help these kids believe in their future.    We started a business called Wootees where the kids learn how to build their own online business – in this case an apparel store.   They write a marketing plan and create the designs and even do some of the printing.  Every week I have to show up and say – no, no one has bought a shirt.  If these kids just sat around and complained and whined I would probably think – “you get what you get.”  But every week they show up excited, with designs and ideas and hope.

There are two ways to help me make a difference:

First, buy a shirt! I realize you may not LOVE any of the designs (although there are some GREAT ones) but they’re not expensive and you can give them as gifts.

Second, forward this information to your contact list because the only way I will ever be able to get the word out about these amazing kids is if you all help me.

It’s a win win for everybody.

Good for the kids – a little encouragement can go a very VERY long way.

Good for me –I am desperate to walk in to our next class and say YES, we sold some shirts.

Good for you – the shirts at Wootees are fabulous (great quality and some truly unique designs).  You really do get to do yet another good deed AND I’m going to give you all FREE FREIGHT on your order until Jan 5th.

The money. for the most part, goes to SUN which stands for Schools Uniting Neighborhoods.  SUN schools are full-service neighborhood hubs where the school and partners from across the community come together to make sure kids and families have what they need to be successful – in school and in life.  The kids that participate also benefit from the proceeds as they would in any business although most of the money goes to SUN.

Help Me Change The World

Help me change the world…it’s as easy as buying a t-shirt or hoody.  I will totally tell you why but if you don’t want the explanation just go to the Library in Wootees and look through the designs by school year and just buy a shirt!

I realize you may not LOVE any of the designs (although there are some GREAT ones) but they’re not expensive and you can give them as gifts AND be of great help to me.

For those who don’t know the story….

I volunteer once a week at a high school. I am beating my head against the wall trying to make a difference in the lives of these kids who may have nothing and frankly not a whole lot to look forward to.  These kids are often struggling and this year in particular I have some kids with special needs.  Week after week (and year after year for that matter) I show up and try and help these kids believe in their future.    We started a business called Wootees where the kids learn how to build their own online business – in this case an apparel store.   Every week I have to show up and say – no, no one has bought a shirt.  If these kids just sat around and complained and whined I would probably think – “you get what you get.”  But every week they show up excited, with designs and ideas and hope.  Help me.

It’s a win win for everybody.

Good for the kids – a little encouragement can go a very VERY long way.

Good for you – the shirts at Wootees are fabulous (great quality and some truly unique designs).  You can eliminate some holiday shopping AND I’m going to give you all FREE FREIGHT on your orders.

Good for me – there are at least a dozen reasons why this would help me both personally and professionally but let’s just focus on the fact that I am desperate to walk in tomorrow and say YES, we sold some shirts.

If you do want to buy a shirt or hoody visit the Library at Wootees.net and check out what each year has to offer.

ps – if you are a cat lover check out the one shirt in the substitute section….I created that one;-)

pss – If you really really want to help me out – send the link to your friends and family with a little note about considering purchasing a shirt… www.wootees.net
